Parador Vilalba
The Parador Vilalba (official name is Parador Condes De Vilalba) is located in the town of the same name - near Lugo in the northwest corner of Spain. Its most outstanding aspect is the impressive medieval Galician tower which dominates the area. This tower has been the home of many of the Counts of Vilalba. The rooms in this tower (there are only 6), with their coats of arms and medieval tapestries, are indeed very special.
In the shadow of the tower stands the new building, wrought in stone and in the style of a typical Galician palace, where the remaining 42 rooms, bar, restaurant, etc., are located.
