Parador Calahorra
The Parador Calahorra (official name is Parador Marco Fabio Quintiliano) is a red brick construction that harmoniously contrasts with the fresh water of the river Ebro and the Cidacos Valley. The Paradro has wide portals, large windows and blinds that adorn a structure with smooth lines which, inside, has a decoration with a clear Medieval influence. The working rooms are characterized by their spaciousness and modern and functional installations. The cooking of La Rioja is based on the quality of the products of its fertile land, with vegetable stew, 'pochas' (pinto beans), chops with peppers, and pears or peaches in wine standing out.
Parador Calahorra is located 200 m from the town hall, at the end of the walk which links the urban and historical centre. This is the perfect base from which to explore the famous Rioja wine district.
